We are excited to continue to support the great work that HENs and PfP partners are doing to drive down inpatient harm and hospital readmissions. We invite HEN leaders and staff - and participating hospitals - to attend our sixth Hospital Engagement Network (HEN) PfP PFE Affinity Group and Learning Event, titled “Developing and Sustaining Partnerships that Improve Patient Safety,” which will take place on:

Tuesday, June 14, 2016

2:00 – 3:30 PM ET

Registration Required: See Link Below

A culture of PFE extends beyond the five metrics and creates ongoing partnerships with patients and their families to ensure safety. This learning event will explore partner roles between clinicians and patients and family members across the 10 quality measures of PfP 2.0, and will include examples of where these partnerships have been successfully developed to reduce hospital readmissions and prevent falls. At the end of this learning event, HENs and hospitals will better understand how to develop and sustain meaningful partnerships between clinicians and patients and families to improve the safety and quality of care.

The session will be chaired by Dr. Thomas Workman, the PFEC Project Director for PfP 2.0. He will be joined by Aswita Tan-McGrory, MBA, MSPH, Deputy Director, The Disparities Solutions Center at the Mongan Institute for Health Policy, Massachusetts General Hospital; Ardelle Bigos, MSN, RN, CMSRN, Chief Nursing Officer/Vice President Patient Care Services, Maine Coast Memorial Hospital; and Desiree Bradley, Leader of the NICU Parent's Group at Texas Children's Hospital. Please bring your questions, comments and perspectives. We will be seeking input from you about how your HEN and hospital develops and sustains partnerships between patients, families, and clinicians to improve patient safety.
